The B Series
COMBINATION CLEANING/VACUUMING MACHINES

B Series Machines | State-of-the-Art Features | General Description

combination sewer cleaners and vacuuming machines
The B10 and B15 Combination Cleaners are designed to give unsurpassed performance in catch basins, storm sewers, lift stations and treatment plants in municipal and industrial applications

Standard Features That Are Everything But Standard.

Built by industry experts, everything about the Aquatech B-Series is planned to save you time, money and increase your productivity. These are user-friendly machines that are tough enough to tackle any job. And get it done right.

Rear Door Design
The full-height, full-width rear door has:

  • A single lever and hydraulically opens to 90° angle, eliminating gravity - operated door "drag in the debris" problems
  • A steel shield deflects debris away from the rear chassis and undercarriage during dumping
  • Door gasket guaranteed never to leak even when debris covers the gasket seal

Positive Overfill Portection for Exhauster
A unique stainless steel ball check valve protects the PD pump by automatically shutting off air flow when the debris body is full:

  • No waste is exhausted into the atmosphere, common with centrifugal compressor units
  • Excess liquids will not overflow from full-capacity loads

The valve is cleaned from outside the tank, operators avoid tank entry and exposure to disease and other hazards.

Foot Controls
An air operatied, portable foot control allows one-man, hands-free operation. The centrally-located pendant cord extends up to 30' away providing simultaneous remote control of the hose reel and boom.

Micro-Strainer and Single Postive Vacuum Seal
Stainless steel micro-strainer removes even fine particles from the air stream, affording maximum PD exhauster life. Stariner is removable with one hand-operated clamp; no nuts or bolts to remove. No crane is needed to lift the stariner out. Self-centering ball and socket seal never needs adjustment or replacement.

Water Pumps
Aquatech triplex pumps:

  • Produce a higher continuous flow of volume and pressure than single piston pumps and provide one-pass positive cleaning with no "skipped" areas
  • Can "jackhammer" or produce continuous flow on demand
  • Are located above the chassis frame, away from debris dumping onto pump
  • Feature self-forgiving, simple-to-repair belt drive and valve system, eliminating delicate electronic controls and sensors, and expensive, complicated hydraulic drives
  • Flooded cushioned inlet uses gravity-assisted pumping power
  • Can run dry for cold weather purging
  • Total price of replacement and repair costs are 50% less than single piston, "jackhammer" pumps

Vacuum Relief Valves
Only units that truly reach 16" Hg. of vacuum require vacuum relief valves. Aquatech units use two of these safety valves.

Split Shaft PTO System
Single engine with belt drive:

  • Cuts fuel and maintenance costs continuously over the life of the machine
  • Powers the water pump and vacuum system independently or at the same time
  • Is self-forgiving and easy-to-repair by any mechanic
